The Tanglewood Murders

Rights Sold
World rights–Dundurn Press, 2010

Worlds collide when a young woman’s body is discovered on the edge of a vineyard called Tanglewood farms.  Migrant workers are the town’s first suspects, but detective Ben Taylor, working anonymously on the farm, knows nothing here is as simple as it appears.

“… a highly praised poet, but this debut novel shows his gritty side… Weedmark has a solid character in Taylor, and he’s got a good ear for dialogue and a great setting.”- The Globe and Mail

“Weedmark’s powerful storytelling instincts explore the why, strongly weaving a reflection of his past writing accomplishments that foretell a dynamic future in mystery storytelling.”- The Hamilton Spectator
